Largest Chinook : 54lbs.
Largest Halibut : 35lbs.
Fishing is just plain stupid right now.  The fish keep coming through in droves and everyday monsters are brought in and lots are lost to the long line release.  The first afternoon of the trip which is generally 5 hours of washing spoons, over 100 salmon were brought in the biggest being 54 pounds.  That started the pace for the next few day which was just epic for tyees and huge northern coho.  The fishing was a little more spread out over the past few days as the tides were substantially smaller.  Again Sailor Rock(#2) was top of the list for big fish, the Honey Hole all the way up to Knob Hill and number 5 at the triangle had some amazing fishing and pretty much a coho bite all day long.  Other spots like Arnie's Hole and Ryan's hole also produced some hogs.  Talking to the guests who have been with us for the past 20 years, it is the best fishing they have ever witnessed.  Running bait in a teaser head or protroll has been by far the best, anchovies have also been a top producer for both Coho and Chinook.
Halibut is still a little slow, but the weather was flat and the guys got out and smashed the ling cod and snapper.  Nice to see as the bottomfishing has been on the lighter side this year.
