August 16-2015

Largest Chinook : 45lbs.
Largest Halibut : 100lbs.

Fishing is still rocking, 19 Tyees over the past few days and a good number lost within 10 feet of the boat, still good Chinook hitting the dock with average sizes of 18-28 pounds and beautiful coho are very plentiful in the area.  Sailor rock and number 5 still have been the most productive spots on the map for quantity and quality. Still running bait at 35-50 feet down has been the best tactic.  Weather was a little choppy over the past couple of days so the access to 5 and 2 was limited but the mornings were fantastic.

Halibut fishing is picking up, Borrowman tie up was great towards the end of the trip.  Bottomfishing is improving as well, good size ling and snapper have been coming in steady off of Towner Bank.
