Largest Chinook : 38lbs.
Largest Halibut : 65lbs.

What a trip!  Probably some of the best all around salmon fishing we have had all summer.  The Coho salmon poured into many parts of our fishing area and amazingly enough they stayed away from what still are the good Chinook spots.  This has made for a fantastic few days and an amazing catch at the end of the trip.  The Chinook again were mainly caught on the west opening of Parker Passage.  The Coho tended to keep up around Knob Hill to Ulric Point(#5) and also at the top end of Rennison at Wall Island.  The best approaches have been still mooching at around 15-20 pulls or pulling spoons(Party Girl, Needlefish or Watermelon) at 32 to 47 feet.  The use of flashers with the spoons really were productive on qauntity of Chinook but it seemed that the guys pulling bait out there caught the larger ones.

The weather was flat as a pancake so the bottomfishing was great, still good catches of Lingcod, Snapper and Halibut were caught off Evans Rock and Wells Rock.  The Halibut fishing has picked up a bit, but still requires a good amount of time invested for decent returns on the tie ups.
