Largest Chinook : 36lbs.
Largest Halibut : 88lbs.

The weather over the past few days has been very trying on the fishermen.  Strong northwesterlies of 40 plus miles an hour have been hitting the central coast and really have minimized the areas that can be fished.  The good news is that it didn't rain the entire time and the spots we could fish were the spots that had been producing fish over the past few weeks.  The best Chinook spots all been on the South end of Rennison Island, Arnie's Hole, Preacher Rock, #7 and the Darkside all produced nice Springs some in the mid 30's.  The East side of Rennison from Hog Heaven to #16 have been the best for big Coho.  Trolling protrolls and spoon/flasher combos anywhere from 27 to 57 feet at 2.5 knots has been the best method so far.  The fish seem to be down a little deeper then in the past few days.  The halibut fishing has been fairly good at select locations in Parker Passage, Pinnacle and actually out front at the Tricky Island anchor the bigger halibut have been caught.

The forecast for the next few days is much calmer and should allow for the fishermen to adventure out to their favorite spots a little more.
