Largest Chinook : 44lbs.
Largest Halibut : 69lbs.

The last few days at the lodge have been great.  The weather has been nice aside from one day of rain and the water has been reasonably flat.  The Chinook coming in have finally got to reputable sizes and have been biting all throughout the day.  A great deal of the "big boys" were brought in from again the Parker Passage area, from Ryan's Hole(#9) to Arnie's Hole and #7, and still the west opening of Parker Passage had some fish caught...it really does seem to be the first place the fresh runs are hitting.  The Coho action has been great at the top end of the islands(#13 and #5) and east side of Rennison and ranging in size from 7 to 12 pounds.  Pulling herring in teaser heads and running spoons are still the best ways to hook up these big guys, Luhr Jensen Watermelon has been the spoon of choice along with Sardine Pattern Tomic Spoons.  The bites have been improving by the day since we have had some well needed pressure changes to stir things up.

There was a few calm spots over the past couple of days and the guest really capitalized on it.  Everyone who went offshore limited on snapper, ling and the occasional big "flatty".   The better buoys to hang off now have been #1 and #2.
