Largest Chinook : 41lbs.
Largest Halibut : 88lbs.

The weather over the past few days has been up and down like a yo-yo.  A good number of storms have come through, hindering travel to the outside waters and at times scrambling the fish hot spots up.  Although the weather has been less then desirable, the fishing has remained really great at most of the spots.  Chinooks are coming in from all over the place, good bites have been seen at the Honey Hole, Borrrowman Bay, south end of Rennison Island and especially Kettle Inlet where a 41 pounder was pulled out the other day.  The top end of Aristazabal and Rennison Island have also had incredible salmon bites for both Chinook and Coho Salmon.  All sorts of tactics are working, generally either pulling bait or various patterns of spoons down 25 to 55 feet has been the best.  Party Girl, Nasty Boy, Army Truck pattern Coyote Spoons have worked the best.  Some people have been using Purple Haze or Monkey Puke flashers at slower times to entice a good bite.

Halibut fishing has been great in Parker Passage with a drift jig approach and there are some fish coming off the Kettle Inlet buoy as well.
