July 6-2013

Largest Chinook : 31lbs.
Largest Halibut : 70lbs.

Given that we had to bring a chopper in to haul out fish, you could say the trip went very well.  Fishing was excellent.  The Coho are in heavy at the honey hole, number 5 and Rennison Island. A good thing too, as the last two days were fairly windy and we had to hug the east side of Rennison Island.  Fishing was great, lots of 8-12 pound Coho and quite a few Chinook.  Protrolls, coyote spoons(Party Girl and Wonderbread) and Tomic Plugs have been the best producers.  Color hasn't seemed to make too much of a difference in catching.

The bottomfishing for the first time this summer was excellent.  The guides went out and tried some of the "old" spots and did extremely well.  Especially on Isnor Rock.  Limits of good size Ling and huge snapper were brought up.  Not to mention we had another 100 pound release out there as well.

Halibut fishing is crazy in Parker Passage....crazy, I say!!!!
