Largest Chinook : 36lbs.
Largest Halibut : 76lbs.

The fishing has been incredible the past few days.  Even though the winds were high at times, everyone is going home with some major poundage.  Over 3000 pounds of fillets shipped out in only 2 days of fishing.  The salmon fishing has been pretty wide spread, the better chinook bites have been in Borrowman Bay where still lots of big Salmon are being pulled out.  Kettle Inlet has been a good place to pick off a few salmon in and out from the lodge, and the north tip of the islands have been great for a mix of Coho and Chinook.  The Chinook are still averaging around 20 pounds and Coho are in the 8 to 10 pound range.  Cut plugging and dragging spoons have been enck to neck this week on catches.  The one common factor is that ggenerally guys are fishing both deeper then 40 feet.  Good spoon patterns have been, Nasty Boy, Party Girl, and anything with silver and green.

The Halibut fishing has picked up all over.  Parker Passage, Anderson Islands, RIchards Shoal, and the chicken ranch have been great fro quantity and size.  The bottom fishing has been great at Towner Banks and Aranazu Banks.
