Largest Chinook : 36lbs.
Largest Halibut : 60lbs.

The first group in camp is just rounding out there trip.  The first two days were really quite stormy and unproductive on the salmon front.  These past two days have well beat expectations.  Lots of salmon, good size and in the old stomping grounds.  Many of these new fish are in the high 20's and low 30's.  The best places have been in the honey hole and ulric point(#5) and the best tactic has been cut plugging herring.  Lots of action was had at Moore Island and Borrowman Bay as well.  Some boats were still trolling spoons and chartreuse seemed to be the best bet for color.

The halibut fishing has been incredible at Tricky Island and the Pinnacle.  Fishermen have had no problem limiting out on their halibut at any tide change.  The bottom fishing has been fantastic offshore as well.  Spencer Bank was by far the best spot with limits being brought in by all who went for the party.
