Largest Chinook : 36lbs.
Largest Halibut : 110lbs.

It was a glorious few days at the lodge.  The weather has been stable and calm, and the fishing rocked.  We have had runs of Coho and Chinook passing the top of Aristazabal and Rennison Islands throughout the past days.  Steady salmon bites were had all morning, with boats limiting on both species.  The water temperature is noticably warmer then we have seen in the past and it seems we have had to go a little deeper on average then in years past.  Trolling flasher spoon combos or protrolls down 45-65 feet off the tip of the islands has been the best bet.  Cop car, party girl and diamond lance were definitely the lures of choice.

The halibut fishing remains great although the keeper size is getting smaller.  Parker Passage and the Pinnacle have given up the mist fish.  Monster halibut are being released steady, we had 3 releases of 100+ pound halibut in the past 3 days.  Pretty amazing.

Bottom fishing is still awesome out on the banks, beautiful snapper and halibut have been brought in daily from the outside.
