Largest Chinook : 36lbs.
Largest Halibut : 100lbs.
Soooo, fishing was off to a good start and slowed down over the past couple of days.  Big tides during the day led to most of the good fish bites being very short and concentrated in specific areas which seemed to change on a daily basis.  Better spots to fish were the back end of the honey hole which some boats found very productive especially for the bigger Chinooks and Kettle Inlet still offered good action but the fish were on the smaller side.  Running a cop car(black and white) scheme or again lime twist colored spoon were again the best producers and anywhere from 45-55 feet down.
Halibut fishing has picked up again, but again with the tides were very specific to bite times.  For the most part the running tides offered better catches then at slack.  Pinnacle again was by far the best with quite a few over 40 pounds coming off of it.

We did get offshore and the fishing has picked up quite a bit.  Wells Rock and Evans Rock produced some great catches of snapper and lingcod.

Fingers crossed on some new fish moving in this morning.  Sometimes a lull can be good for things to come.
