Largest Chinook : 42lbs.
Largest Halibut : 76lbs.

The last few days have been amazing.  The fish have been biting all throughout the day and again at all the favorite spots.  The bulk of the Chinook being brought in are between 20 to 25 pounds and are fighters.  The most productive spots have been Ryan's Hole(red 9) at the tide changes, the Honey Hole(red 3) on an ebbing tide, and the Dark Side(red 10) on a flooding tide to the high.  The top end of Rennison(#13) and at Ulric Point(#5) are still producing good Chinook and Coho and the East Side of Rennison(#6) has been very productive for both species as well.   The lure of choice has been spoons with pink on them, especially the Coyote "Party Girl", but the Flo Glo pattern has also been a good producer.  Pro Trolls are still being used to catch big Chinook and at depths from 30-45 feet.  Areas like the Dark Side and out front are still great for mooching.

Halibut fishing has been the best by drifting on the Pinnacle(Yellow 1) straight out from the lodge.  The halibut seem to be ranging between 20 and 40 pounds off of it.  The buoy out front was good late this afternoon, producing a couple of limits.

The weather was smooth over the past couple of days and relatively dry.
