Largest Chinook : 31lbs.
Largest Halibut : 44lbs.

So the fishing was not as active as it has been for the last two weeks.  Big tides with the super moon and an algae bloom from extremely warm water conditions we think were the culprits for the two day lull in fishing.  Today was quite a bit better, a little rain and cloud has warmed up the fish activity and again we are catching salmon.  The size of chinook are still lingering around 10-20 pounds with the occasional tyee.  The coho are biting once again and their size is still on average huge for this time of year.  We can't wait for them to keep growing...August should be awesome.  Trolling flashers and spoons at the top end of the islands by far is the best tactic, but the fish are starting to show in Parker Passage and the Honey Hole.  Party Girl with Purple Haze flashers and Green Flasher with Cop Car or Diamond lance are working the best.   The halibut fishing is still consistent in Parker Passage and the Pinnacle,  average size is still 10-20 pounds.
