Largest Chinook : 48lbs.
Largest Halibut : 120lbs.
Hogust continues. Fishing remains strong in the area. Big guys continue to roll in everyday and the Chinook fishing has been very consistent each morning. Mixed in are some really nice coho, upto 15 pounds so far. Most of the fishing has been concentrated arouund the Parker Passage and Honey Hole area, fairly typical for this time of the year. Most of the really big guys have been picked up at number 2(sailor rock), Numer 3, Nob Hill, Arnie’s and Ryan’s Hole are also solid bets for some good fishing. Trolling flasher anchovy set ups continues to be the best approach, white green or uv is working better in various light conditions. 47 down to 77 feet is where the bait is holding in most areas.
Bottom fishing. is still really consistent for Halibut and Lingcod. Parker Passage and Borrowman Bay and Clarks cove have been best for Halis and Shakespeare, Wells and Bonson Rocks best for Ling Cod and Bass.
